Welcome!
to the web site of 'SKI, where we Blog, inform, share our many pictures, and generally amuse ourselves and you with news about our FRABZZ - folk rock acoustic blues jazz, or whatever.
'SKI won the National Novel Writing Month challenge! The idea is to write at least 50,000 words in 30 days, and 'SKI rose to the challenge, writing 51,960 words before November 31st. What did we win? That spiffy winner banner on the sidebar and the knowledge of a job well done. We're planning on finishing the novel between the three of us and see where it goes from there.
'SKI is planning more tours! We're expecting to be out in the Chicago and Cincinnati areas for some of February and in the general west for parts of March. We're hoping to fill out the tour with lots of coffee houses, libraries, schools, and nursing homes and just work anytime we can while we're visiting. If you know of any in Chicago, Cincinnati, or the west, let us know and we'll pursue the idea. brian@morskimusic.com is the place to send any comments or information about that.
Kathryn (the MOM) is getting the Superior Radio Hour ready as a fund-raiser for the Bonifas Arts Center in Escanaba. She's still working there, working on 'SKI, and now she's working for A-Muse Productions as a freelance editor! Drop her a line at kathryn@morskimusic.com!
Brian is still the Tuesday night Barista at the 8th Street Coffee House, and really glad to have that connection to a town center of Escanaba. Working diligently on Aelwe, the world he's creating with Kathryn, he's coming up with new ideas for stories and D&D Supplements connected with the world. Drop him a line at brian@morskimusic.com
Caitlin is finding out what life post-graduation really means. So far it means being housekeeper at the Morski home, working heavily on 'SKI media, and finishing the first draft of her novel. Drop her a line at caitlin@morskimusic.com.
We hope to see you down the road - thanks for stopping by!
